Cold press olive mills in Manesi and Trikorfo

Many years have passed since every Greek family was responsible for its own oil production, with an olive mill (called "liotrivi"). Today, modern machines allow the creation of large and leading-edge facilities that support the production of extra virgin olive oil. In the Anagnostopoulou family, we have invested in exactly that. We experiment with new methods and choose the best one. By following the developments and constantly incorporating new machines in our olive mills, we are always confident that the product we deliver is the best.

Our two olive mills operate with cold extraction and are located in Manesi and Trikorfo, Messinia. There is also a production unit in Manesi. Our facilities have been designed with years of expertise and we have used those materials that allow all aromas to remain unaffected until bottling. With the assistance of our modern olive mills and the input of people who share with us the same knowledge and values, we manage to produce high-quality olive oil.

The awards we receive from time to time are an accolade and an appreciation for the efforts of those who participate in the production of olive oil in the Anagnostopoulou family. Our love for extra virgin olive oil, but also the labor of all the people who work for it, has resulted in the recognition and acquisition of prestigious awards. The distinctions we receive create even more incentives for us to produce a fine product.

Our Story

A history of olive oil that spans over a century

In 1986, our great grandfather, Papa-Apostolis, the village clergyman, created the first olive press in mountainous Messinia, using sticks and stones. Having grown up amongst the olive groves, he adored the aroma and the intense taste of quality olive oil. A family story of olive oil begins right there. Our family, the genus Anagnostopoulou, still has the same passion for authentic Greek extra virgin olive oil. We continue to produce a product that comes from the fertile Messinian soil and encloses the mentality of the people who reside there.
